I’m happy to announce the release of the SlydePress 2013 Redleg Annual. I’m happy about it because it is the result of a lot of hard work from a number of people that didn’t include me. Well, that’s not entirely true. I did contribute an article to the Annual where I may or may not mention the “WOOOOOOOOOOOO!” trend, but there’s (thankfully) a lot more to that Annual than that:

  • Projections for the entire regular lineup of Reds players and starting pitchers.
  • Discussions about many of the team’s great players including Joey Votto, Johnny Cueto, Aroldis Chapman, and Shin-Soo Choo.
  • Articles from many of your favorite writers on the web including Mo Egger, the gangs from Red Reporter, Redleg Nation, Blog Red Machine, Reds Minor Leagues, Chris Sabo’s Goggles (Hey, that’s me!), C-ing Red, Cincinnati Reds Blog, and more!

The eBook also includes access to exclusive interviews from Head First Slide Podcast with me (the interview was done last week, but if you listen carefully, you can still hear me babbling) and several other of the writers expanding on their topics.

This is a download-only publication, so if you wear a lot of hemp (or do other things with it) and are a regular attendee of Children of the Earth gatherings, then you’re probably thankful for the amount of paper that wasn’t used to create this comprehensive guide. I will say that during the writing process I printed at least 20 different copies of my article for editing, so in the end we probably broke even with our conservation efforts.

You can purchase the SlydePress 2013 Redleg Annual here. It’s available in a variety of download formats — including PDF, ePub and Mobi — which means you can read it on your computer, Kindle, or other eReader devices. It only costs $4, which is like buying a cup of coffee at Starbucks. I guess it’s like that. I don’t drink coffee.

And, no, I don’t get a dime from the sale of this, so I’m promoting it out of the goodness of my… wait a second — what did I agree to?

If you’ve already decided that $4 is just way too expensive for a collection of fan insights about the Cincinnati Reds, then today might be your lucky day. If you leave a comment on this blog post, I’ll randomly choose one of those people to receive a free copy of the  the SlydePress 2013 Redleg Annual. I don’t care what your comment says, although I’d prefer it wasn’t something mean about me. I’ll pick the winner on Monday, and I’ll even let you choose the file type you want (you only get one version).

Happy reading!

He might be the tallest (and he probably is if it’s who I think it is)… but EVERYONE KNOWS 2nd is BEST… just sayin’.

I am a displaced fan in Texas, so I deserve one the most. Also Chris Sabo was my favorite player growing up.

Chris Sabo was the man back in the day and even to this day. So I guess that makes Chris Sabo’s goggles pretty awesome by association!!
