You know Rick Sweet just won his second consecutive minor league manager of the year award for the Louisvulle Bats. To me that just demands a promotion. Goodbye Baker, hello Sweet. And bring Ted Power with ya, thank you very much. And isn’t Sabo managing our A team? That would mean a promotion for him as well. Sometimes all that keeps me interested is just envisioning that someday in the future Chris Sabo will be managing the Cincinnati Reds. Do you think Sabo would have sat back and watched Taveras go 0-for-79 in the leadoff spot? I think he would have kicked Willie’s ass that’s what I think.

AH… twould be a dream come true,if Duncan&LaRussa came here,I don’t think Bob C. has that much pull with them or willingness to fork out that much money.could you picture Janish or Hannigan batting 9th?What do you think would happen when Tony goes to Walt and says “i need a right hand bat for left field” and Walt says “sorry Tony Bob says “we’re not going to lose anymore with what we got!” or something that sticks to the wall”. what will probably happen is Dusty will re-hire Chambliss and Hume.
