Since U Been Gone

Let’s see, while I was away Jay Bruce broke his hand (which, when you think about it, can only help his batting average), Edwin Encarnacion started hitting (huh?), Bronson Arroyo extended his scoreless-inning streak to 16 (this guy drives me insane), Aaron Harang, winless in his last nine starts, saw his record fall to 5-10 (…), and the Reds made no deals (yet).
Sounds like a typical, maddening, week in Reds Land.
More importantly, the Reds are three games under .500 and hoping praying to stay alive in the NL Central. I don’t think this team has a chance of hanging around much longer, but stranger things have happened.
Like that time when the Reds put Steve Parris on the mound for the one-game playoff against the Mets in 1999.
And I would just like to state, for the record, that I would absolutely love it if the Reds, somehow, found a way to trade for — and more importantly, sign — Jason Bay. It will never happen, but I would love to see it.

F-ing Steve Paris, man that brings me back.
Jason Bay… c’mon! Won’t happen, Dusty would have to bat lefties back to back.
Yes, although it won’t happen, Jason Bay would be a wonderful addition … gotta have that RH bat.
