Drive Well, Sleep Carefully
April 30, 2009
The Reds followed up their 7-3 road trip with a 1-5 homestand. Good for them.
If Edinson Volquez gives up two hits in last night’s game (instead of one), the Reds probably lose. That’s how bad they are.
So far, so good with Adam Rosales. His offensive output is already 700% better than Edwin Encarnacion’s this season.
I’m looking forward to the Reds getting back on the road.
Remember, you should hate the Pirates just as much as you hate the Steelers. Why? Because it’s fun.

That was my first look at Rosales, as an Astros fan, and so far I love the kid. He reminds me of goofy little Hunter Pence when he first came up.
And the Pirates wear the same colors as the Steelers so it’s easy to hate em too.
Didn’t they go 2-4 in the homestand?
I think you’re right, Dave. That’ll teach you to trust anything I say.
P.S. I hear Ramon Hernandez is batting leadoff.
i was in school during the BIG RED MACHINE, and I still hate the dodgers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and those stinking blue uniforms. at redsfest 2008 i was apart of the group sales breakfast, and we got to met dusty. What did he have to sign there? his dodger baseball card. right then i knew we were in trouble. told him i still hated the dodgers.
Am I the only F**K who loves the S**T out of Adam Rosales? Dude, that play where he dove into the stands to rob a fan of the ball, plus his running to first base on a walk convinces me he’s the bastard son of Pete Rose and Ryan Freel!
