Have you ever been asked, “If you were a superhero, what superhero power would you want?”
When I was a kid I’d probably say “invisibility,” because I could go into the women’s locker room and not get caught. As an adult, I’d probably say invisibility, because I could go into the women’s locker room and not get caught.
But if you asked me today what superhero power I’d want, I’d say – SPEED!
Why? Because apparently if you’re fast, you’re guaranteed a $3 million contract in Major League Baseball and a spot in the lineup every night.
Dusty Baker (on why He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was in the starting lineup… again):
“We need some outfield speed in this big ballpark.”
Well, at least Dusty had a legitimate reason.

We also need some brain cells in the dugout of that big ballpark!
