I chose to go see The Incredible Hulk last night instead of subjecting myself to the exciting action on the field at Great American Ballpark. It was a no-win situation, really.
Since all I know about last night’s game is the final score, I’ll leave you with a quote from today’s Cincinnati Enquirer:
The Reds are hitting .179 on the home-stand and have scored a total of 17 runs in the eight games.
During Ken Griffey, Jr.’s pre-game ceremony on Tuesday he said that “with a little luck” this team could win a championship. I applaud his optimism, but Junior needs to lay off the Jägermeister before he gives a speech.
Is there anyone out there that really thinks this team still has a chance?
