Hefty Harang Hoists Hometown Heroes
I often pat myself on the back for the clever, hilarious and inspired headlines I create on this site. I’m reminded of how clever, hilarious and inspired I am when I see a professional sports writer come up with a headline like:
Hooray for Harang
Really? “Hooray for Harang?” That’s the best you could come up with? You just know that John Fay was so proud of himself when he came up with that one. I wouldn’t be surprised if he called all of his friends and said, “Hey, guys, check out this headline I wrote.”
But I’m not here to make fun of John Fay, because I think he does a fine job covering the Reds. What I am here to talk about is how great it was to see Olde Tyme Aaron Harang on the mound again. That’s the Harang I’m used to seeing.
Since the Reds just beat the World Champions, does that mean that the Reds are the best team in all of baseball? I think so.
