Especially when you consider that the guy he replaced (Corey Patterson) couldn’t find his way on base with a detailed map and a fully-charged Rascal Scooter.

It seems kind of concerning that such a large bulk of Bruce’s OBP comes from his BA… I mean don’t get me wrong, it look like this kid can really handle a stick… but it would probably be nice if he had an opportunity for more strike zone experience in the minor leagues.

Here’s hoping it works out for the Reds though, I can’t get enough of all the exciting talent coming into the majors as of later.
